This is designed to easily wrap around your knee, waist, shoulder and other affected areas.
HOT Heating up the pack (as per instruction on the product) may assist with:
-Pain relief - applying heat can relieve discomfort in the area of pain e.g. sports injuries. - Easing joint stiffness - heat may improve flexibility in your limbs/joints e.g. arthritis. - Rapid recovery - heat assists by increasing blood flow, promoting reducing of swelling. - Relaxing - heat therapy soothes and helps alleviate daily stress relieving.
COLD Cooling the gel pack (as per instruction on the product packaging) may assist with:
- Pain relief - applying cold will numb the painful area and reduce inflamed tissue. - Reducing swelling - a cold press may reduce blood flow and stop bleeding. - Easing muscle spasm - cold therapy aids in muscle relaxation and recovery after an injury.
Heating your MY Gel pack
Microwave Method
Heat the gel pack in microwave for 40sec
Carefully remove and test temperature against skin
Massage the pack to spread the heat
If not hot enough, reheat in 10 sec increments
Hot Water Method
Boil about 4L of water
remove the water
Carefully remove and test temperature against skin
Massage the pack to spread the heat
If not hot enough, reheat in 10 sec increments
Insert the prepared gel pack into the fabric sleeve.
Position over the affected area and use the strap to achieve desired fit.
For limbs. double wrap the strap around the area.
For larger areas such as your back, wrap around once.
Strap stretches from 70cm - 115cm
Simply wipe down with a damp cloth and air dry. Do not soak in water, tumble dry or machine wash.
