HOW TO HEAT MY GEL PACK IN A MICROWAVE (BASED ON 1100W) Remove the gel pack from the wrap. Heat the gel pack in the microwave for 1 minute, flip the gel pack over and heat for another 30 seconds. Remove and carefully massage the gel pack to spread the heat and test the temperature against your skin (The gel pack will be very hot at this stage). If not hot enough, reheat in 10 second intervals. Insert the heated gel pack into the provided sleeve and ensure it is secured. IN HOT WATER Boil about 4 litres of water in an appropriately sized pot. Once the water has boiled, remove it from the heat and immerse the pack in the water for approximately 10 minutes. Carefully remove the pack from the water using tongs or other appropriate utensil. Test the temperature of the pack against your skin. If it’s not hot enough, insert back in the water for 1-minute intervals until the desired temperature is reached. Once it reached the required temperature wipe off the excess water around the gel pack. Insert the heated gel pack into the provided sleeve and ensure it is secured. APPLYING MY HOT GEL WRAP Insert the heated gel pack into the fabric sleeve (wrap) and ensure it is secured. Wrap around the targeted area and fasten with the strap. Make sure it is not wrapped too tightly and affecting your blood circulation. Repeat the process again if necessary. CAUTION Make sure the gel pack is at room temperature before heating. Ensure the gel pack is not leaking before heating or application. Overheating may burst the gel pack. Always carefully test the temperature of the gel pack before handling to avoid any risk of burns. HOW TO COOL MY GEL PACK Place the gel pack in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. Remove from the freezer and test the temperature. If the gel pack is too cold, allow it to thaw for a few minutes at room temperature. Insert the cool gel pack into the provided sleeve and ensure it is secured. APPLYING MY COLD GEL WRAP Insert the cooled gel pack into the fabric sleeve (wrap) and ensure it is secured. Wrap around the targeted area and fasten with the strap. Make sure it is not wrapped too tightly and affecting your blood circulation. Repeat the process again if necessary. CAUTION Always carefully test the temperature of the gel pack before handling to avoid any risk of damaging your skin.
